Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to state practice acts and American Nurses Association standards for age and population-specific interventions. Deliver preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up services while maintaining competency in department-specific certifications. This 12-hour rotating shift role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of the facility. Contracts run 14 weeks with weekly pay and included stipends.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
