Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage assessments, diagnosis, outcomes planning, and evaluation across the continuum of care while adhering to state licensure and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from the location. Weekly 36-hour night shifts with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
