Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, ensuring adherence to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while addressing preventative care, diagnosis, and health maintenance needs. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings as designated by Bemidji Medical Center. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option, requiring at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel history.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
