Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient assessment, education, and triage. Deliver care across the continuum of health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for patients in all phases of care. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and residency 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
