Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage. Manage patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from Worthington, MN. Weekend shifts include Friday through Sunday or night rotations from 7:00pm to 7:30am. Starting rate is $3010 weekly with 14-week contracts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Weekend only contract working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Night contract working 7:00pm-7:30am with two out of three weekends
- Variable shifts contract working 7:00am-7:30pm, 3:00pm-3:30am or 7:00pm-7:30am with two out of three weekends
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
