Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care across the continuum. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Manage patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up according to state standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 hours weekly. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND, and hold at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites. Weekly pay includes a stipend, and eligible staff receive Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
