Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while managing patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state practice standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This travel staffing role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience. Applicants must live at least 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site, with weekly pay including a stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
