Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Practice within state standards and the Nurse Practice Act, adhering to age and population-specific guidelines in your assigned clinical setting. This rotating 36-hour weekly role at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD, requires a live-in or live-at-least-60-miles-away RN with one year of experience and six months of travel history. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
