Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care planning, and manage patient triage, assessment, and education across the continuum of preventative care through diagnosis and treatment. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act while caring for patients in all phases of health maintenance and follow-up. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. This 12-hour night shift requires 36 weekly hours and a minimum of one year of RN experience, including six months of travel experience. Applicants must live at least 60 miles from the location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
