Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, triage, and care planning while implementing interventions across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to evaluate outcomes and coordinate care within the full scope of nursing practice. Provide individualized nursing care utilizing the nursing process and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of Bemidji Medical Center. Offers 12-hour rotating shifts with a 14-week contract option, weekly pay including stipend, and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
