Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Manage patient interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, state licensure rules, and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Weekly pay includes stipend; contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
