Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions within the scope of nursing practice as designated in the assigned clinical setting. This weekend shift role at Worthington Medical Center requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am)
- Must be available for variable shifts (7:00am-7:30pm, 3:00pm-3:30am, or 7:00pm-7:30am)
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
