Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Deliver assessments, diagnoses, and interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborns settings. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for Level 1 and Level 2 units. Weekend shifts include 36 weekly hours with rates starting at $3010, including stipend. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen
- Pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
