Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care across the continuum. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients in preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain required department competencies and certifications while supporting underserved communities through travel staffing opportunities at Bemidji Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
