Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, assessment, and education across the continuum of care. Coordinate patient interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings for preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up. Requires one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and residency at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Night shifts run 12 hours weekly for 36 hours, with 14-week contracts and Sanford benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
