Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients across the continuum of care. Manage patient assessment, triage, education, and preventative health maintenance while adhering to state practice acts and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Rotate shifts at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD, with 36 weekly hours and a starting rate of $3010. Live at least 60 miles from the location. Requires one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
