Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care planning, and manage patient assessment, triage, and education across the continuum of care. Execute interventions within the full scope of nursing expertise while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Deliver preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment support for patients moving through diagnosis and follow-up phases. This 12-hour rotating shift role at Bemidji Medical Center requires a registered nurse with at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from the location. Contracts span 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
