Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting. This 12-hour rotating shift requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live 60 miles from Bemidji, MN. Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
