Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Manage patient care in all phases including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Requires an unencumbered RN license, BSN preferred, and 36 weekly hours. Starting rate is $2,758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
