Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients across the continuum of care. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and preventative health maintenance while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for age and population-specific settings. This 12-hour rotating shift at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and residency 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
