Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of care. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Practice within state standards and the Nurse Practice Act, adhering to age and population-specific guidelines for preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Maintain required department competencies and certifications while functioning under the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
