Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage care across all phases of the continuum, from preventative health to follow-up, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of Worthington, MN. Weekend shifts include Friday through Sunday contracts, night contracts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, and variable options, with a starting rate of $3010. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
