Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care across the continuum, from preventative health maintenance to treatment and follow-up. Manage patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience; live 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations with 36 weekly hours and a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
