Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Deliver preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up services while maintaining required department competencies. This travel nursing role at Bemidji Medical Center requires at least one year of experience and six months of prior travel experience, with applicants living 60 miles from the location. Contracts span 14 weeks with an option to extend or move to another Sanford site, with weekly pay including a stipend and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
