Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient triage, assessment, and education across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while maintaining competency in age and population-specific standards. This 12-hour night shift position requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available for extension.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
