Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage and education across the continuum of care. Perform assessments, implement interventions, and coordinate care plans while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings, ensuring full scope of nursing expertise is applied during preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up phases. This 12-hour night shift role requires 36 weekly hours at Bismarck Med Ctr in Bismarck, ND. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the location and hold at least one year of RN experience with six months of travel experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
