Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment and education across the continuum of care. Manage triage and implement interventions while adhering to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings for patients in preventative care, diagnosis, and follow-up. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a weekly stipend of $3,262 and 12-hour rotating shifts. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options at other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
