Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes while collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues. Manage patient triage, education, and coordination of care within the scope of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with candidates living at least 60 miles from Worthington, MN. Weekend shifts include Friday through Sunday or night rotations from 7:00pm to 7:30am, with a starting rate of $3010 weekly and 14-week contracts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
