Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and various nursing interventions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This 12-hour night shift role requires 36 weekly hours at Bismarck Med Ctr, with a stipend included in the weekly pay rate. Candidates must have at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, living within 60 miles of the location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
