Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Perform patient assessments, implement interventions, and ensure compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while caring for patients in all phases of preventative care and health maintenance. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to age and population-specific standards designated in the assigned clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accept a drug screen
- Accept pre-employment background screening
