Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. This 12-hour night shift position requires 36 weekly hours at Bismarck Med Ctr in Bismarck, ND. Candidates must live at least 60 miles away and possess one year of experience with six months of travel history. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites, with stipends included in the weekly pay rate.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
