Registered Nurse SANE Adult - Emergency Department - Per Diem

Conduct physical assessments and forensic exams for sexual assault patients, including obtaining evidence via the Illinois State Police Evidence Collection Kit and facilitating forensic photography. Collect and maintain chain of custody for all evidence and records while documenting assessments, interventions, and patient education on STD and pregnancy prevention. Provide direct medical care for injuries, coordinate with law enforcement and advocacy groups, and offer crisis intervention and legal testimony when subpoenaed. Maintain right to privacy and confidentiality throughout the process.
