Job Summary
The Registered Nurse for Same Day Surgery provides high-standard nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopy, IV therapy, minor surgery, or interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring excellent patient care during recovery. The role requires effective communication with medical staff, accurate documentation, and participation in patient education. Candidates must have a current RN license, relevant experience, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.
- Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association).
- Minimum two years of experience in a related healthcare position
- Previous endoscopy experience required.
