Registered Nurse-Same Day Surgery Part-Time

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, and environmental variables while anticipating complications and adjusting care priorities based on changing conditions. Develop and update nursing plans of care with interdisciplinary team input, coordinate discharge planning from admission, and administer prescribed medications with appropriate patient education. Evaluate patient responses to treatments and teaching plans, document all interventions accurately, and communicate status changes to physicians and shift charges. Recognize signs of abuse or neglect per hospital policy and apply age-specific interventions aligned with Standards of Care. Maintain continuous communication with healthcare providers and community agencies to coordinate patient care activities.
