Job Summary
Provide safe, patient-centered care to patients in the Same Day Surgery team by supervising care delivery, coordinating plans of care, and educating patients and families. Demonstrate knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical judgment while managing pre-op assessments, monitoring post-anesthesia recovery, and overseeing discharge planning. Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois with BLS and ACLS certifications required; 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience (minimum)
- Previous perioperative, PACU, pre-op, or med-surg experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with pre-op assessments, monitoring post-anesthesia recovery, and discharge planning
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
