Job Summary
As an RN in a residential youth-treatment setting, administer prescribed medications, triage illnesses/injuries, monitor vital signs and health outcomes, conduct screenings and maintain immunization compliance, educate youth and staff on health topics, and provide CPR/first aid training as needed. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure individualized, holistic care within HIPAA and OSHA guidelines; support treatment planning and ensure safe, trauma-informed care for male youths aged 13-17 in a 60-bed facility. Requires active Florida RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; involves variable schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida
- At least 2 years of professional nursing experience
- CPR certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
