Job Summary
Provide compassionate, high-quality medical care to youth in a residential psychiatric treatment setting. Administer prescribed medications, triage illnesses, monitor vital signs and health outcomes, conduct health screenings and ensure immunization compliance. Educate youth and staff on health topics, coordinate CPR/first aid training for staff, maintain controlled drug records, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning while ensuring OSHA/HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence. Collaborative care with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals to support physical and emotional well-being in a 72-bed facility serving adolescent males. Weekend schedule (Fri–Sun, 7A–7PM) with in-person nursing duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida
- CPR certification
- At least 2 years of professional nursing experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver’s license
- Must meet state criminal background check requirements
- Flexibility to work variable hours as needed
