Registered Nurse (RN) Woundcare

Registered Nurse (RN) wound care role focused on implementing a patient-centered plan of care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, assessing multiple health domains, developing and coordinating care plans, delegating activities to the care team, administering prescribed treatments and medications, documenting care and outcomes, providing emotional support, participating in discharge planning, and educating patients and families. Requires leadership, clinical judgment, collaboration with physicians and health-team members, and ongoing assessment of care effectiveness to ensure quality outcomes.
