Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN to serve as Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) at Navicent Health Medical Center. This full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift role involves developing and delivering ostomy and wound care education and materials, coordinating and providing care along the continuum with multidisciplinary teams, updating policies and protocols related to ostomy/wound care based on evidence-based practices, and serving as a consultant to physicians, staff, patients, families, and students. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting patient care, implementing care plans, tracking outcomes to improve quality, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based wound/ostomy/continence practices. Requires strong communication, teamwork, ability to manage high-stress environments, and commitment to ongoing professional development (e.g., at least 12 contact hours of education annually).
