Job Summary
PRN Registered Nurse (RN) needed in Wound Management Floater role to cover PTO and call-outs for the hospital’s wound care specialty. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate patient care; monitoring patient conditions and adjusting care plans; collaborating with the care team; administering medications/treatments per protocols; engaging patients and families; maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes; ensuring accurate EHR documentation; and potentially floating to other units within the service area. Requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to ANA Ethics; this role supports ongoing professional development and certification maintenance. Minimum education includes a nursing degree with current RN license and BLS; BSN preferred. Per diem/part-time employment with compensation in the pay range listed.”,
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduate from an approved nursing program
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- BSN (preferred)
