Job Summary
Inpatient Wound Care RN responsible for delivering skilled nursing care to patients, assessing patient status, implementing clinical interventions, developing and updating care plans, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment within the St Francis Medical Center wound care unit. Requires assessing wounds (staging, photographing, measuring), administering IV medications, charting, vital signs, and adherence to policy; EPIC EHR experience and a strong foundation in wound care nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Wound Care Certification (WOCN Wound or WWC Wound Care Certification) - required within 3 years of hire
- Experience: Recent RN experience in acute care and wound care (required)
