Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies. Monitor resident status, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality assurance activities. Requires current active RN license, CPR/BLS certification preferred, and minimum one year of clinical nursing experience. Long-term care experience and supervisory background preferred. Location: Terre Haute, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
