Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Work and Campus Care tasked with delivering direct patient care and contributing to safety and quality initiatives. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engages patients and families, monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with the care team, and may administer medications per clinical protocols. Requires strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills; involves documentation in EHR, adherence to ANA Ethics, potential floating to other units within the service area, and ensuring age-appropriate care across the patient population. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license; BLS is required, with BSN preferred. Two years of clinical nursing experience is typically expected. Benefits and compensation are DOE within the stated pay range.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience
