Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Women's Services Department using the nursing process, including plan of care interventions, medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor patient conditions, document care, and assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals while providing patient and family education. Advocate for physical and emotional well-being and participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of six months to one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital Labor and Delivery or Medical/Surgical setting
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Schedule: Three 12 Hour Shifts, Full-Time Nights (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)
- Location: Maria Parham Medical Center - Henderson, NC
