Job Summary
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, accurately record pertinent data, and ensure patient safety and privacy. Demonstrate skills in fetal monitoring, including interpreting tracings and placing scalp electrodes, while preparing patients for C-sections and assisting with vaginal deliveries. Perform plan of care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate across disciplines for discharge and referrals. Evaluate learning needs and provide patient and family education appropriate to their condition and culture. Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Requires a current NV RN license, one year of obstetrical experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
Required Qualifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30-days of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90-days of hire

- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certificate (FMC) within 6 months of hire
- STABLE course completion within 90-days of hire
