Job Summary
Conduct initial patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and develop individualized care plans for women's health patients in an outpatient setting. Administer prescribed medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and perform minor procedures such as wound care and suture removal. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques, while documenting all care in electronic health records. Coordinate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive care and manage patient appointments. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) and Texas RN license; BLS certification mandatory. Salary range $82,000+.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- At least 1 year(s) of experience in outpatient or clinical setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
