Job Summary
Delivers nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing objectives, and defining interventions while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Coordinates with healthcare providers, reviews physician prescriptions, and communicates care plans to the team. Develops nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, and documenting physical and psychological status. Teaches patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Evaluates care by measuring health outcomes against standards and modifying care plans as needed. Maintains a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication protocols, and legal regulations. Documents services in patient records and keeps equipment operating through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Works primarily nights with rotating weekends and holidays, including every third weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing
- An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- The ability to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment
