Job Summary
Delivers nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing objectives, and defining interventions while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Coordinates with healthcare providers, reviews physician prescriptions, and communicates care plans to the team. Develops care plans by obtaining histories, examining patients, and documenting physical and psychological status. Teaches patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Evaluates patient care by measuring outcomes against standards and modifying care plans as needed. Maintains a safe environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication protocols, and legal regulations. Documents services in records and keeps equipment and supplies operational. Works primarily nights with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment
