Job Summary
Float Pool RN across Wisconsin facilities (Aurora Health / Advocate Health system) providing adaptable, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based nursing care, floating to multiple acute-care environments within a designated zone, coordinating care, maintaining competency across facilities, and collaborating with diverse teams. Requires RN license, BLS certification, completion of an accredited nursing program, and 1–2 years of Med Surg experience. Schedule features self-scheduling with 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930) and 36 hours/week, with weekend and holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year Medical Surgical RN experience; 2 years strongly preferred
