Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions while promoting the physical and psychosocial well-being of seniors. Utilize nursing skills to develop meaningful relationships by learning the life stories of residents and staff, fostering a comforting and engaging atmosphere. Collaborate with nursing and facility teams to ensure coordinated care, demonstrating leadership to promote teamwork and exceed resident needs. Manage medications proficiently while maintaining a respectful work environment through strong interpersonal communication and adherence to C.A.R.E. values. Work full-time weekend shifts at Hickory Creek at Scottsburg, supporting a supportive atmosphere where staff build deep connections with each patient.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana
- Proficient medication management skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff
- Full Time Weekend Option on Days
